Every horse can load easily and willingly when you know Frank's simple and
loving techniques!
"Help your horse find that a trailer is a nice place to be. Before long and with some patience, your horse will
WANT TO BE THERE. Just like a dog, he'll want to get into the trailer for the next big adventure".
Frank Bell
Five horses, four trailers, and four seasons set the stage to learn Frank Bell’s Gentle Solutions natural
horsemanship approach to loading horses
successfully and without incident.
Trailer loading is a necessary part of horse training, ownership, and enjoyment. It can be a big event or a
non-event. Horses can react like dogs and just fly into the trailer ready to "go for a ride."
The opposite end of the scale is the stress that both the horse and trainer can suffer when the time comes to deal
with getting the horse into the "evil" trailer. This is an opportunity to learn how to do it right and actually
enjoy the process while heightening horse/trainer confidence.
" Most horses that load happily are well-adjusted, confident riding horses,"
"When I work with any horse that has loading problems, it’s the first thing we deal with. When they can go in
happily and have their breakfast in there, the rest is relatively easy." Frank Bell
Frank Bell demonstrates how to make trailer loading and travel a pleasurable experience for your horse. Using his
philosophy “reward for the smallest try, the slightest change”, Frank successfully loads and unloads 5 problem
horses which present with every conceivable level of resistance.
Horses include a 3 y.o. Appaloosa and a 7 y.o. quarter horse, both have never been loaded in a float before. Other
horses include a 14 y.o. throughbred who had been in a trailer accident; a 3 y.o. appaloosa who has never loaded
alone, and a 2 y.o. appaloosa who has only been loaded into a stock trailer.
The techniques demonstrated in this DVD are not only straightforward and easy to apply, they help relax the horse
and build their confidence. Learn how to help your horse want to be in the trailer and look forward to the next
adventure.
Proper tying, securing the butt bar and door, backing out, driving, safety tips, and more are covered in this
excellent work filmed throughout the U.S.A.
What they are saying...
"We have a horse that had a trailer accident that
just would not load for us. When we moved to a
new barn we tried for over 4 hours to get this
mare to load.
My daughter and her mare have worked on
loading off and on for a couple of months. The
furthest they ever got was getting two front
feet in and then backing off.
Your trailer loading video came in the mail day
before yesterday, my daughter watched it that
night and yesterday set out to use your
techniques. I am so very happy to report the
mare loaded in less then 30 minutes.
Today, we hooked the truck and trailer up, we
brought the mare around, she paused a moment
but then stepped right on in. This has been
nothing short of a miracle!
I am very grateful for your straight forward, easy
to understand techniques."

One grateful horse owner,
Cassie Palmer |
"When you think about what we are asking of
horses, to get into these little boxes with wheels,
it's a wonder that any horse ever loads into a
trailer.
Watching Frank's video, 'Trailer Loading' enabled
me to load our 7-year-old quarter mare for the
very first time like a snap."

Bill Parks,
Ballwin, MD |
"My horse had been involved in a very bad
collision, and it appeared impossible to ever get
him into a trailer again.
Using Frank Bell's methods, as shown in his video,
had us loading and unloading Gypsey in less than
an hour."
