Frank Bell's Complete Training System

Testimonials

We are currently in the process of gathering testimonials from Australians like yourself to add to our site.  So if you have been blown away by the success you've been having using Frank Bell's methods on your horse, we'd love to hear from you.  Just email us at libby@horsewhisperer.com.au with your story, an attached photo of you and your horse would be fabulous too!

Here are just a few of the comments received from people who have been thrilled with the results obtained using Frank Bell's 7-Step Safety System.

Hello,

I just wanted to thank Frank for putting out a logical approach to behavior modification. It has never made any sense to me with some of the other "whispers" chasing animals and rationalizing that it would somehow make the animal have more trust in them w/o realizing its resignation only.

I have spent time with many different trainers of many different
species through my work in the veterinary field and zoo animal work.

I have just received three of Franks dvd's and am thrilled with the methods.  Perhaps only because it so closely follows my thinking and approach, but I think its because they are truly great dvds.  Thank you

Frank, I just wanted to thank you for your video....."Discover the horse you never knew". I watched it with my 15 yr. old daughter and she was very interested in your techniques. She later went to the coral to work with her horse. I reminded her about the one rein stop. She worked it several times in the coral before leaving for a ride around the property. She was about 100 yards from the other horse when he decided to RUN home! She remembered the emergency stop! When she came home she had a BIG grin on her face and said.....I REMEMBERED THE EMERGENCY STOP! She was so excited.

She was dumped about a month ago and even though she knew what to do, she panicked and ended up on the ground. She did ride after that, but was always apprehensive about it. This really built her confidence level up. Thank you Frank! We watch that video over & over & over, and we always learn something new from it.

Hi Frank,

I have received your DVD's etc, spent the last day watching some of them and I am absolutely thrilled at the way you have developed this program. It is what I have been searching for. You treat the horse with respect and kindness unlike many others. We badly need this kind of guidance in my part of the world. Many riders treat their horses as "machines" and frustration runs high when the communication is simply not there between horse and human.

I will do my utmost to learn your methods and would be absolutely passionate about helping others if I can in the future.
In regard to you coming to Australia to run clinics - that would be awsome.

"Frank Bell is one trainer in this field whose dedication stands above the rest. His 7-Step Safety System of horse gentling is geared specifically to the safety of horse and handler. He is not only a seasoned trainer, he also cares deeply about his work."

“Your training made sense to me. The techniques were easy to learn and convey to my horse. They seemed to make sense to her too. You taught me how to be firm without being aggressive, you taught me how to use very small steps to get the results I wanted, and you gave me the confidence to go home and start working with the rest of our young family. It is so much easier to work with our other young horses now that I know your 7 step system. They seem so smart!!!"

"Piglet was a brood mare, started at 11 years old. Although a good pony, Piglet was scared of everything, constantly fearful, and Tayla, (her 9-y.o. owner) could only be led on the pony, holding onto the saddle. In less than four weeks of using the tools learned from your system, Tayla now catches and tacks up her own pony, works right through the seven steps, and has just started rising trot with, as Tay puts it "look, everybody, no hands!". Wonderful stuff".

.....the opportunity finally arose in my life to adopt a horse of my own, I leaped and the chance. What I didn’t know was that the horse was a very sensitive, gaited American Paint horse, which had been being used as a cutting horse as well as to wrangle cattle. He was also a lot more green-broke than I knew. Needless to say, after one moment of stress, I landed flat on my back, on bedrock with a dislocated leg and a nearly broken pelvis.

Numerous people at my barn told me to “put that wild horse down” or “you’ve got to sell him, he’s crazy”, but, honestly, it’s just not in my nature to give up that easily - So, after a ton of research, I came across your Safety System and your 7 Steps.

To make a long story short, over a year later, I was able to bring him to a point where he could be used as a lesson horse for beginning riders. I have also been able to develop his gait and our ever-growing bond, with a patience and compassion that can only be described as divine.

I am so extremely grateful for who you are and what you teach.
Thank you Frank, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Dear Frank,

I just wanted to say how totally impressed I am with the videos I have seen so far, I have had a few issues with my TB horse Freddy nothing too drastically serious but never the less we both lost a bit of confidence along the way, I have watched and rewatched your 7 SSS, and communication in the saddle, it all makes so much sense, so as soon as I feel I have the exercises truly planted in my mind I shall start then with all what you advise. Thanks again for the easy way of explaining things so clearly.

As a natural horsemanship trainer, I have learned from the best of the top leaders “out there.” Since some methods do not always work on every single horse every single time, learning from all the great trainers over the years has created in my training repertoire a vast, effective bag of tools to refer to in solving any horse problem. However, 100% of the time with 100% of the horses I work with, I always plug them into Frank Bell’s 7-Step Safety System. It is, by far, the most important and effective foundational training I can ever lay down in every horse, and to help to solve individual horse problems. And 100% of the time I teach this system to my clients, as well, because I find it is the most easily grasped and implemented system for them, even for lay folks, to put into practice and get instant positive results.

Frank’s system, in my opinion is an absolute must for every horse, every rider and removes a large percentage of the risk out of the ride as well as all horse handling in general. Thanks, Frank, for enlightening the training world with your remarkable system!

Mr. Bell:

I just had to let you know what a wonderful tool your trailer loading video is. We have a horse that had a trailer accident that just would not load for us. When we moved to a new barn we tried for over 4 hours to get this mare to load. We ended up parking down a slope and backing her into the trailer just to get her to the new barn. My daughter and her mare have worked on loading off and on for a couple of months. The furthest they ever got was getting two front feet in and then backing off.

Your trailer loading video came in the mail day before yesterday, my daughter watched it that night and yesterday set out to use your techniques. I am so very happy to report the mare loaded in less then 30 minutes. When my daughter brought her mare back around later in the day, she loaded again without balking. Today, we hooked the truck and trailer up, we brought the mare around, she paused a moment but then stepped right on in. This has been nothing short of a miracle!

I just had to write and say Thank You! I am very grateful for your straight forward, easy to understand techniques. They have worked for us.

One grateful horse owner,
Cassie Palmer

Hi Frank,

I love your approach and philosophy about treating horses the way we would want to be treated and helping them to succeed. I am completely committed to that philosophy and because of it, I now have 2 of the most calm, loving and affectionate, and
willing horses I've ever seen.

People are amazed at the differences in them since I've gotten them and I always refer them to your website to get your videos. Even my 2 year old bay mare Talia, who was almost completely wild when I got her in July, has blossomed under that kind of treatment in to a wonderfully sweet, calm, and loving horse who loves to learn new things and rarely spooks at anything. My little man hardly spooks anymore because he has become so much more confident, and everyone thought I was crazy getting an Arabian as my first horse because of their reputation but he is the love of my life, and has changed many a mind about Arabians in general because of his calm and sweet disposition. They are a real testimonial to your style of
teaching as a HUGE success!!

Hi Frank,

I always look forward to the training DVD\'s each month. I watch them over and over because I always understand something better than I did before each time I review the lessons. I have witnessed phenomenal improvements in my horses by applying Frank\'s methods. I have gained so-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o much confidence in myself as well. I feel so much better prepared to handle many of the \"critical\" situations that I have encountered with my horses now and my fear in dealing with each situation has markedly declined. I have become proactive instead of reactive and overactive. I have even learned to overcome the critcism that I have frequently received from other horse owners that do not understand the importance of building a strong foundation under your horse. They feel that it is too much work and not much fun. They just don\'t get it until they get hurt. I just perservere and feel so empowered with Frank Bell on my side. I never new how magical and powerful it was to have a partership with another creature. My horses are actually happy to see me every day and happy to work along with me no matter what I ask of them. Now I wish I had delved into horsemanship years ago but I enjoy each day that I share with my horses. Those days are so precious to me!!!!!!

Dear Frank,

I feel like yelling your system from the roof tops. You just don't know. I have been working on these two QuarAb's for 6 years. The book on Natural Horseman was the only thing that got me through to my mare. But, she wasn't finished. There was something missing. Now I know what it is. My horses love me. They only trust me. Yet, they were more afraid of objects than their faith in me. Magic was coming to me after using your system within 30 minutes and he was calmer at each approach. He actually came to me for support. It gives me goose pimples. I've worked with these two horses with everyone that I thought knew about horses and all they could say was,"Get rid of them, they are unreliable and crazy." Oh, but they're not. They just needed that blank filled in.

Dear Frank,

I have just watched one of your dvds and was more impressed with how you took the time to make sure that those of us watching clearly understood what you were doing.

There are so many good trainers in America and so very few here in the UK. It is a journey that when you undertake it changes your whole life, and I find that I am always looking for more, I have such a long journey to make with my friend to achieve half of what I am looking for, and I am not prepared to rush things. Some of the people who claim to be doing natural horsemanship here seem to want to rush things and not work at the horses pace, which I find very sad, because they are all missing so much. Timing and feel are so hard to get but by noticing the little tries it is getting easier and I am getting quicker.

Thank you for making it possible for people to understand what you are doing and where you are coming from.

Suzy, U.K.

Hi frank and thanks,

I wanted to let you know what great results I have
been having too with your system.  I rode my 17 hands
tall dutch warm blood day before yesterday for the
first time, he has been here since january.  He had
been led around all his life with a chain, I was told
how much he hated gates (going in and out of them) and
how he was herd bound. Well he is the most wonderful
horse, all my volunteers cheered when I got on him
and we were buddies.

I have been doing your ground work system and he
finally invited me to ride and wow did I jump on that
chance.  It is working on all my horses here, the
young ones as well as the old retirees that have had
bad experiences in their lives.

Anyway frank, thanks.

Cris Magnabosco

Hi Libby,
Cris won another ride with your halter and equipedic saddle pad. What a way to celebrate your 60th birthday. He destroyed the field winning 81 km race by over an hour. Not only winning heavyweight division carrying 101.5 kilos but also best overall time. There were 105 horses in the ride. It was very hot and humid and hard to keep the horses body temp down.
